We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for team Rennequin. It was overall a happy and comfortable stay at a thoughtfully designed room in a great location. The little gestures by way of small gifts were delightful.
The only bitter note was the unduly rude behaviour faced one morning at reception during a payment. It was absolutely unexpected and uncalled for, and left a very poor impression indeed.
There was one person called Pedro who was extremely friendly and helpful. The second person, whose name we do not know, was there for two days. On the first' day he was taciturn and surly, which we put down to unease with speaking English. The second day he refused to give a receipt for the payment made and was very rude. This is not acceptable from someone in the hospitality business, and unfortunate from any person interacting with visitors to his country who had not made any unreasonable demands. This attitude was absolutely out of place from someone whose job it is to make guests feel at home and help them with systems they are unfamiliar with in another country.
We had been looking forward to this trip as it was very special for family reasons, and during whatsapp interactions leading up to our stay at Rennequin, all interactions over messages have been extremely cordial. Thus it was all the more shocking to face such behaviour.
We hope no guest has to face this in the future.
We are sorry you had this bad experience with this person replacing one of us for few days at the reception. We hope we will have the opportunity welcoming you back for a future stay in Paris,
