Lovely hotel with a great location. My only complaint was charging for wifi. Who in this day and age charges for wifi? Hotel staff was great and you could not beat the location. There is no parking so you have to pay for street parking which is something like $15 a day.
I just wanted to point out that we don't charge for Wi Fi; we do have a Hotspot for the Deutsche Telekom in the hotel, which can be used by customers of said company for free, but others would have to pay. The hotel network (there is two, one main one and a backup one) are free of charge.
We also do have a parking lot that is free to use. Judging by your comment about the "wall", I would guess you have, maybe, reviewed the wrong hotel? There is no wall in Garmisch-Partenkirchen...
