Aufgerundet der Bauart unserer Dusch/ Bad Kombination in unserem Zimmer, glich das duschen jeden Morgen einer sportlichen Herausforderung, leider sehr unschön.

Sehr schönes, familiär geführtes Hotel. Zimmer und Service sowie Frühstück sehr gut. Leider liegt das Hotel direkt an einer stark befahrenen Bundesstraße und die Fenster scheinen nicht optimal schallisoliert. Sonst auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

Dear Sir or Mad
We had quite a good impression on this family hotel until we had an unpleasant encounter with the cold unfriendly
woman (Name tag says "Monica") who gave us weird look and response when we asked regarding the in-house spa.
It only opens normally in the afternoon but as we have arrived late and would be leaving the next day, we were informed when we checked-in by the nice evening
receptionist that we could also use it in the morning if we would just give notice to the reception at least 30 minutes prior so they could prepare it.
In fact, this is also being advertised in the hotel brochure so there is nothing unusual to our request. Saying this to her face, in the end she has agreed to switch on the
sauna.

As it turned out, this lady is the head of the reception and being the head, her reaction is very disappointing and unprofessional as she doesn't seem to
have customer service skills. She may be a good manager but she should leave the "talking" to the customers to her staff who seems to be doing better job than her.
A more professional service oriented person could have offered or suggested an alternative or would have said "not possible" in a more diplomatic manner without
offending the customers. We wonder if this is the same person that another reviewer referred to as "watch out for Frau Grumpy".

The rest of the staff tough are very nice and friendly, the room where we stayed had a lot of space as it was also a "disabled" friendly room, the pillows could have
an upgrade as they were too thin and almost flat. Good quality breakfast is a plus!.

Overall, hotel has a homey and welcoming feeling as long as you don't get to encounter this woman.
Would we consider coming back to this hotel? Maybe, probably if she is on holidays and we don't get to talk to her...it just ruins the good holiday mood.
