Aweful. Terrible nights sleep and not even a pot of tea/coffee at breakfast. Tea/coffee machine is not really good enough.
Absolutely delighted with our stay
Overall I had a really disappointing stay at Highland Hotel. I thought I have a perfect break from my work. When I arrived in the room, the room was cold and when I asked the reception to help they just gave me the heater in my hand - Good Luck!. In the morning neither the staff nor the supervisor didn't have a clue what they are serving. I have a wheat- and dairy-free diet, but when I asked the staff and the supervisor to help me, they don't understand English or not know what they serving. Also, I need to wait for my toast every time 10-15 minutes, so I just left the restaurant before the last round of toast arrive. After my stay, the hotel charged me 48pound for a mistake and take 2 phonecalls to make the situation clear.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Always enjoy our stay here
Old fashioned Highland hospitality. Just great.
The hotel is in the heart of inverness town centre, the staff is very helpful, rooms are clean, good food, I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a break as there are lots to do and see.
Very enjoyable stay. The room was excellent. The buffet breakfast could be better as the eggs were cold and found it difficult to explain this to girl clearing take as she did not speak very good English .
Only second time at this lovely hotel we enjoyed our first time in novembér so much we just had to book up again ..a good nights sleep lovely breakfast and so many personal touches has made us recommend this holiday to all our friends and families ...it wont be long before we book up again .thanks to all the team who work together and make it possible .....
I have stayed in many hotels over the years and The Royal Highlands hotel is up there with the very best Will definitely be staying there again and have already recommended it to friends
very nice hotel, but on arrival did not like being asked for my credit card to be swiped, I do not own one and this was embarrassing as thrre was a queue behind me, I was not informed of this requirement before I arrived! It was not easy trying to understand the receptionist due to her accent, although it was not her fault that she insisted on seeing a card I do not posess. The prices of drink is very expensive, more people would stay in the hotel if this was cheaper. Meals are also a bit on the expensive side also
