loved this place......old, historic, beautiful lobby. Rooms had high ceilings, big old fashion bath tubs, a bit worn in some places If you want a cookie cutter hotel chain , this is not for you. Try the High Tea in the Lobby

We loved our stay here was a fab get away. Rooms were to a clean standard & staff were friendly. Dined one night in the restaurant which was lovely really high standard of food & great selection. Had breakfast both mornings was a good selection also. The lady that welcomed us at breakfast was amazing very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Good overall, but the room was small and we could hear everything in the hallway.

The 2 for £122 offer proved to be amazing value for money - My wife and I love the hotel and would happily take advantage of that offer again.

Aweful. Terrible nights sleep and not even a pot of tea/coffee at breakfast. Tea/coffee machine is not really good enough.

Overall I had a really disappointing stay at Highland Hotel. I thought I have a perfect break from my work. When I arrived in the room, the room was cold and when I asked the reception to help they just gave me the heater in my hand - Good Luck!. In the morning neither the staff nor the supervisor didn't have a clue what they are serving. I have a wheat- and dairy-free diet, but when I asked the staff and the supervisor to help me, they don't understand English or not know what they serving. Also, I need to wait for my toast every time 10-15 minutes, so I just left the restaurant before the last round of toast arrive. After my stay, the hotel charged me 48pound for a mistake and take 2 phonecalls to make the situation clear.

Old fashioned Highland hospitality. Just great.
