Hotel was excellent, centrally located with ease of access to all the local shops, bars and restaurants. Only fault this hotel has is it's lack of parking facilities. You can park in the Eastgate shopping mall for a reduced overnight rate of £5, butane sure you get your ticket validated by the reception before going to get your car out. I spoke with the receptionist before hand to find out where I paid for my parking and was told it was at the car park, never any mention of having my ticket validated, to which it cost me £10 to park my car for the night.

The Royal Highland is our favourite hotel when we visit Inverness. We always require (choose) to upgrade our room due to personal and medical reasons. Over the past couple of years we have seen a reduction in the amount of extras provided e.g. in the room we used to have a pack of biscuits each but now it is one pack; the supply of toiletries such as shower gel and shampoo have also been reduced by 1 Unit.
