I always try to stay at the HCC when I or my family are traveling to or through Vienna. There are three main reasons, the hotel is situated within a short walk to the old town and Vienna's public transport system (from Schwedensplatz station it is only one stop to the city airport train), the service provided by staff is terrific (and has been so over 4 visits), and the breakfasts are a great start to the day.

On my most recent visit I arrived into Vienna at 5:30 in the morning after a nasty 22 hr flight, because check-in was not until 2pm I decided to see if I could drop in my luggage and walk around Vienna until that time. The staff on duty were really accommodating. Not only were they happy to assist with luggage, but they went out of their way to make arrangements for an early check in and breakfast. I was able to have a shower, take a break, and hit the town with added energy. It made a great difference to my day and my overall experience in Vienna.

The location of the hotel is very comvenient for me. All of the staff are always friendly. Therefore, Hotel City Central is my regular hotel during stay in Vienna.

This hotel is in a great location, really near the canal and just across the bridge from the Schwedenplatz transport hub – so really easy to travel from the airport. It is also in easy walking distance of the main shopping centre, the boat stop and loads of restaurants. The “hop-on hop-off “ buses also stop just across the street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and adequate although we booked a Courtyard View but only overlooked a flat roof – but it was quiet and we we weren't expecting a great view in a city centre hotel. The breakfast was excellent, a great range of foods on the buffet and served until 11:00a.m. - there is also a supermarket next door. If we return to Vienna, which we might well do, will definitely try to stay here again.

It was very good but only the hotel must have renovation
