to many emails , misled at reception, threatened by management sign or leave, room was cold, wifi 7/10

Liked · the bathroom was clean and spacious with clean towels and lots of toilet paper lol! there was a mc donalds in the train station accross the road from the hotel.

Disliked · received 4 emails pertaining to booking, filled in booking form etc and received booking confirmation.i have been living out of hotels for the last 5 months in Germany and chose this hotel due to its high ratings and location, i even upgraded my room! queen double,i was alone,on arrival i was asked fill in all my details again including my passport number and asked to sign agreeing to house rules and practices although i was shown no rules and what are business practices? when i asked why they needed my passport number ( first time i was ever asked to give this) I was told it was a covid rule for contact details.i had given a german mobile no. ,A German address and a german email along with my covid pass.i am irish and my passport contains no address.i queried giving my signature to a document that i agreed to of which i had not read.the manager was called and i was told to goto my room read the " house rules" an " business practices" than return to reception and sign.i arrived at 17h. at 18h30 I have read the Schultz house and business practices and nowhere does it say i must give my passport.i return to reception show the manager and express my concerns of giving my passport details to be stored on a cloud for 3 years when not required, i am told i must give or i must leave.the solution """I suggested"" was to give my German drivers licence number which was accepted, room was cold when i entered, what is a fancoil? one plug socket at the table ,an overhanging bed which i hit my head off as i got off my seat, room with a view was facing apartment block and at 9-10 am the cleaners walked into my room twice.i turned the heating on and still could hear the fan running at midnight.finally the room had a girls name ,why give a man a room with name phoebe when other rooms were called james or mike or john, onleaving i brought my card to reception said hello and thanks and i got no response my goodness.

Das Hotel, die Lage und die Zimmer waren echt gut, es war lediglich ziemlich warm und wegen der Bundesstraße vor der Tür, war es nicht möglich das Fenster über Nacht offen zu lassen, da dies zu laut war.
