Overall I had a really great experience. The building is ideal for a hostel because it is very spacious and the ceilings are high. Cleanliness was no problem and the staff were very friendly. Only Issue was that it was very noisy outside at night until early in the morning (people outside, motorbikes, etc). Otherwise perfect!!

Das Hostel ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet! Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann als offener Mensch sehr schnell Kontakte mit anderen knüpfen und die Stadt Lyon gut kennenlernen da sich das Away Hostel in einer guten Lage befindet! Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die relativ laute Straße neben einigen der Zimmern, jedoch kommt dies absolut auf die Zuweisung des Bettes an (ich war direkt neben dem offenen Fenster). Alles in allen eine positive und schöne Erfahrung, ich würde wiederkommen!

Si j'ai l'opportunité de revenir sur Lyon et me retrouve dans la nécessité de trouver un hébergement, vous êtes n°1 sur ma liste. Rapport qualité/prix (chambre, propreté, environnement en général, localisation de l'hébergement, etc) au top, je vous recommande!

Ik heb een hoop leuke mensen leren kennen en het was een geweldige uitvalsbasis om Lyon te verkennen. Ik kan het aan iedereen aanraden en ik ga hier zeker terugkomen als ik weer in Lyon ben.

La nuit fenêtres ouvertes à cause de la chaleur fut très agitée à l'extérieur. Heureusement le petit déjeuner et l'emplacement de l'hôtel excellents ont compensé cette mauvaise première impression.

it was ok, but the hostel was really hot due to no air conditioning and the stair case made it really difficult to lift luggage to the room and this resulted in injuring my knee.

Super easy to get around from the hostels location. Everything in walking distance. The lack of aircon really let the experience down though, staying 3 nights and getting very little sleep each night made it difficult to enjoy.
