Reception was missing when I checked out and now I have a charge on my credit card. I am wondering why this is the case?

Hello, we are open 24H/24 so during the night the receptionnist is somtimes missing because he is watching out the hostel for the safety of the place. You have to wait a little bit at the frontdesk for his return or if you are in a rush you can also leave your room key at the front desk. Thank you and safe travel !
