As a basic hostel experience, SLO is very good. If marketing as a more 'boutique" hostel, overall cleanliness needs improving and the breakfast options need to reflect more diversity of dietary requirements.

We sincerely apologize for the cleanliness issues you encountered. While our housekeeping team cleans rooms and shared areas regularly, your comments regarding the stained mattress and the presence of mould in the showers clearly indicate that a deeper level of cleaning is needed. We fully acknowledge this and have already planned deep cleaning measures, as well as improvements to the bathrooms.
Regarding breakfast, thank you for your thoughtful suggestions. We regret that our current offering did not sufficiently meet vegan dietary needs. Your recommendations are very helpful and will be taken into consideration as we review and diversify our breakfast selection.
