I had a little bit of a hard time socializing since I seemed to be the only one speaking English. However I would definitely return if I had a fellow English speaker because it seems like a great environment.

Really great atmosphere, rooms were clean and spacious. Bathrooms and showers were clean and always well supplied. Love the weekly events.

It's a well-managed hostel, very clean and facilities are good. The location is all right, a bit away from the old town, but maybe because of the distance it's not so noisy as the areas near the tourist sites. However, the check-in was a bit slow, and the receptionist didn't even show me the washroom and shower room... just took me to the room and that was it... not felt welcomed... :S

The Slo Living Hostel is located 10min from the train station Gare Part Dieu and 10min by walk from the city center.
About the check-in, we have training employees so next time it will be perfect ;) Maybe it was a little bit busy at your arrival...
