Smarte Architektur& tolles Konzept von Gastfreundschaft. Den tollen Gesamteindruck trübte das Bad zu Zimmer fünf: Leck unterhalb vom Duschkopf+ nicht schließende Duschkabine + kein zweiter Abfluss führten zu ständigen Überschwemmungen. Das Personal hat mehrmals täglich aufgewischt, die Ursache aber nicht behoben.Schade!

Every staffs were very kind.

They booked a really big group on my last day. This meant that there was no shared activity as scheduled, and that I felt a little excluded in general as the small space was taken over by people who all knew each other. I don't think they should accept big groups, however tempting that is commercially - it goes against the idea of a hostel. The lovely barman on my last night did one thing right (a free glass of wine to compensate for this) and something wrong: he should have given the four guests the option to be included in the massive dinner which had been prepared for the other 32 (I am sure we would have been OK to pay!)

Our policy regarding groups is really simple : during high season (more than 5 months a year) we do not mix independent travelers and groups (groups reservation are not possible), specially to avoid that feeling for independent travelers to be "excluded" and to guarantee the best social / hostel experience we can. The rest of the year, we try to accept big groups that book the entire hostel.

As high season ends mid September, we received that american students group who was completely in the hostel mood (we do not accept children or too young students). Sorry if you felt a little bit alone during that period.

Most of all, sorry if you didn't receive the warm welcome you deserved during your checkin, specially after a very long trip. We will take into account your feedback and will forward your feeling to the concerned staff member. Happy to see that you were satisfied by the rest of the team.

I stayed at SLO Hostel with a group of 31 college students. The accommodations were clean, bright, and comfortable, and the staff couldn't have been better. Highly recommended!
