The hotel is at the higher end of basic amenities. The staff is what made this hotel stand out. You might however have a better system for letting your cleaning staff know which rooms have been vacated. I was walked in on 3 times before check out time, the morning I left. It happens so I was not upset though I might be if it continued to happen in my next stay.

When I called the Hotel a few days before our arrival the staff told me that the room is to pay when we leave. When we arrived the Lady at the counter told us that they already took the money off the credit card, Also there was no change (euro in Forint) possible (the first time after 4 visits in this hotel). But the biggest reason why we're not going to stay at this Hotel again is that they wanted 15€ per night for our dog (which is okay, but about twice as high as what we paid in any other hotel before) AND demanded at the checkout an additional fee of 20€ for the additional work at cleaning, which was allegedly caused by the dog. If a hotel requires that fees for my dog, I am already disappointed, if not even a bowl was prepared with water in the room. But it's simply outrageously to require also an extra cleaning fee. Especially since we already left a high tip for the housekeeper , as compensation, if more work with the cleaning could be caused by the dog.
