This was a great choice for us. We loved that the Churchill was a quiet, elegant retreat in the middle of a bustling York. The staff was always helpful and available. Thanks for a great experience.

Everything was delightful and I would certainly return if I was going to York
We came by train, and it was only a ten minute walk to the hotel

Great stay shame about the boiling room not sure why the heating was on during a heatwave! Not able to get good nights sleep. Breakfast excellent

Very good. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Only issue was the loo blocked in the morning when we got up.

Great staff and food. Disappointing room. As we checked out my wife trapped her arm in lift door and cut it badly! Staff were helpful but not a great end to our short stay. Lift door needs looking at!

Absolutely fantastic visit. It was our friends first visit to York and they were really blown away by the whole break in York and their experience in your hotel was largely responsible for their, and also our own satisfaction

We have stayed at the Churchill for many years. Can’t fault it.
All the staff are friendly and helpful.
Rooms are lovely and very clean.
