Staff really welcoming, friendly & helpful but a bit disappointed with the room due to size & temperature.

Overall we were blown away by how helpful and friendly all the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all delightful. The hotel is beautiful and just had a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely come back and recommend to others.

Overall experience was good. Room was cozy, bed was comfortable and the staff were lovely. I only docked points because of the spider!

Good room clean and spacious however bar service seriously lacking. Reception staff excellent. Very welcoming.

Great place to stay, staff at check in super polite. Location is ideal just a short walk to restaurants and the town. Parking on site is ideal, I use this hotel with friends for a trip to the York Ebor meeting.

Been staying there ever August for the racing best place we’ve stayed in the last four years, after staying at a few other hotels

This is a wonderful, super-friendly hotel, and I stay here often. If there's any problem at all, it's attended to immediately. The staff is local and they know EVERYthing, and if they don't, they know just where to look it up. I'm completely happy with the service as well as the attitude of the Churchill and look forward to my next visit!

Ian on reception was amazing we stay every year, he helped my elderly Mum in & out with her walker so kind & friendly absolutely brilliant we will be back thank you for a lovely stay
