The Churchill Hotel

Delighted with my stay at the Churchill, in a small double room. Room was very well fitted out with everything I needed. All staff were so pleasant and helpful. The public areas are lovely, and the breakfast was fantastic.

Our overall experience was fab . We will definitely be returning here , the atmosphere and the staff where great , nothing was to much trouble , we where able to store our luggage on the day of leaving until we where ready to leave

I cant recommend this hotel highly enough. The room "The Marlborough" was excellent, clean and the bed was to die for. The staff were very friendly, polite, professional and very helpful. The overall ambience of the hotel relaxing and quiet. Car parking was a bit pricey. But other than that a really superb hotel and we will be visiting again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, food was delicious and staff were exemplary.
Surroundings are well maintained, comfy and relaxing.

Bad start but second and third night were perfect,..the front of house team were very helpful and friendly providing us with hints and tips with information of York and the hotels history.

A great experience with wonderful staff. A great room for a good price, with the highlight being a pizza in the beer garden

Kind friendly staff the rooms were very comfortable and clean amazing food and close enough to the town centre. I will definitely stay there again.

Very enjoyable stay overall. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Good, generous parking facilities. Breakfast freshly cooked, never rushed, would have preferred less or an alternative to the sourdough for some of the options. Lovely restaurant and we had two dinners in the hotel which were good and our requirements were met when we asked for variations. Quiet location but very easy to walk into the centre.

Fantastic hotel, couldn't fault anything. Ian, phobe, Will in the restaurant, all 5 stars. Only stayed one night, will definitely be back, to stay longer.
