Ok. Not the service i expected intitally regarding issues and superior room. It got better thanks to Claire and the gentleman with her who sorted my concerns, after my initial contact with reception was dismissed.
This was also a birthday gift. Overall not the experience I was expecting from the hotel after looking at the website.

Great location near the Minster Convenient on site parking was a definite plus. Staff very friendly and helpful.

VERY GOOD - Lovely staff, very helpful and well satisfied with stay. Would be more welcoming if large outside door were open. Perhaps weather doesn't allow.

Excellent staff are so helpful, Rachel and Ian especially , we had a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

We understand your comments regarding the parking charges. We do our best to remain competitive and, as is common in the centre of York, complimentary parking is unfortunately not available. However, we review our fees regularly to ensure they are in line with other hotels in the area.

Such a superb location and interesting history to the Churchill. Fabulous food and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Just a little disappointed in the room experience.

We had a lovely time at the Churchill Hotel. The staff on the whole are very friendly and helpful and it is a lovely hotel.
