Excellent stay staff attitude excellent which is the icing on the cake I had feedback previously on the hotel contact email and special mention to Ian on reception and Harry in the beer garden and the lovely lady who served us tea in the garden.i also mentioned replacing the cutlery as the knifes are very blunt

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Wouldn’t have normally chosen somewhere with steps at front as disabled but was joining friends. The staff were so helpful, assisting with my scooter. I was offered a shower stool too which was brilliant (as was the level access shower) A fan was a welcome addition to room too as weather very hot. Room was very close to reception but I wasn’tdisturbed at all. I felt very well looked after and nothing was too much trouble for the staff team. A little suggestion - brightly coloured key cards - not white.., they are too well camouflaged against white bedding and we kept mislaying them! Sort that and provide ramped access and this place would be pretty well perfect!

Would love to return, hotel was amazing!
The room was very warm due to the weather and the fan in our room didn’t work but other than that would 100% recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great helpful reception team, enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and stay again when visiting York

Overall great stay, room a little small and breakfast not amazing for one of us but all in all we enjoyed the themed boutique feel.

A very good base for a city break.
Pillows are very hard. Might be better to have one hard and one soft on each side of the bed.
Room beautifully appointed but have you tried filling the kettle in the sink? Impossible! We were inventive with using mugs to fill it, though!
Good shower in terms of water power and temperature.

Room was a bit warm, heavy bedding, slightly noisy with window open. Decor quirky and rather dark. TV didnt work! Disappointed with reception staff. Would like to see parking included in price at this rate. Decent bathroom and ideal location. Food menu and bar area looked interesting but competing with all the options York has to offer so not used.
