Overall a nice weekend..a small fridge if possible in the room would be a advantage...also our room was next to the kitchen so also next to the bottle bank which was not so good.

An excellent experience, thank you. We received an upgrade to the Bridal suite which was a very welcomed addition to our stay. The Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. It's a 5 mins walk into York from the gates which was perfect to venture up onto the City walls and enjoy the sights of York. Parking was easy also. Many thanks again. We will go back again to The Churchill

Loved the hotel. Will definitely return next time we want a weekend in York. We have 2 daughters aged 13 and 14 who would love to see York, so the plan will be to bring them next time.

Exactly what we expected as we are regular guests. Loved our whole experience at Churchills. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Only minus was the weather was extremely hot, could have done with Air Con or fans in dining room as was very uncomfortable due to heat.

Great location, walkable to attractions but quiet. Nice quirky hotel, lovely staff. Our room was clean and the air con was great. It was smaller than I expected, especially the bathroom. It was difficult to wash my face in the little sink.
We ate in the restaurant once and the food was very good.

Very friendly welcoming staff. Room was lovely. We were early for check in, they kept our bags and put them in the room. Booking was easy, I had questions about early parking, staff so helpful

Really nice stay. Been before. Food great the QR code app for the beer garden is really good and easy to use

We really appreciate your positive comments about the QR code app in the beer garden. We use a QR code ordering system in the beer garden to offer a higher level of table service, which would otherwise be difficult to maintain without increasing staff numbers and, subsequently, our prices.. It’s always reassuring to know that guests find it straightforward and user-friendly, but for anyone who prefers a more traditional approach, we’re also happy for guests to order and pay at the bar.

This was a birthday treat, and it was our 2nd time here .and it was amazing , from booking in Rachel, who is fabulous, and helpfull , to Henry in the garden , to the restaurant staff ,,,everyone was just fabulous,
