A great experience with wonderful staff. A great room for a good price, with the highlight being a pizza in the beer garden

Kind friendly staff the rooms were very comfortable and clean amazing food and close enough to the town centre. I will definitely stay there again.

Very enjoyable stay overall. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Good, generous parking facilities. Breakfast freshly cooked, never rushed, would have preferred less or an alternative to the sourdough for some of the options. Lovely restaurant and we had two dinners in the hotel which were good and our requirements were met when we asked for variations. Quiet location but very easy to walk into the centre.

Fantastic hotel, couldn't fault anything. Ian, phobe, Will in the restaurant, all 5 stars. Only stayed one night, will definitely be back, to stay longer.

An excellent hotel in a great area of York and within walking distance too.
The four poster rooms are very tastefully decorated and quiet.
Safe cafe parking.
Very pleasant staff with always a good warm welcome.

It was alright, good for the price. The room was a bit small, but pretty. The showerhead was very confusing to use and sprayed water on the floor.
