Close to everything so very convenient for exploring York. Front desk staff were always lovely. Room service was fast, however food was below average and some menu items (pigs in blankets on loaded fries) were substituted without notice.

Disappointing , this was a special break for my partner who is on a cancer journey, it was her birthday treat, it cost over 500 pound so I expected better

Very nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything’s was clean. Had the pizza and it was delicious

Overall good. Pity bar was closed when we came back from friends at 11 pm. Receptionist was very helpful.2

Great! Good location, easy to find and easy walk in to the City Centre. Close to train station, parking (albeit a tight entrance) and nice hotel. Good staff - very pleasant and efficient. Regularly stay in York and we would definitely stay again

Brilliant time, all the staff were wonderful however Reece went above and beyond. Will was excellent also.

Very nice charging for parking far to expensive also not being told there a railway running along side and staff emptying bottles at 11-15 pm at night very noisy

We're sorry for any disturbance you experienced from the nearby railway and from the noise late in the evening as bottles were being emptied. A really easy walk into the city. Fantastic looking location. Bar is very comfortable and we are there twice in the 4 nights we stayed. Sunday roast exceptional as were the fish and chips. Staff were lovely as always. Special mention to Will who served us 4 night running. Professional,polite and exceptional service

Our second visit here and will surely return.
Not a criticism but with the car park being so tight, do continue with the ‘herringbone’ nose-in parking but designate an area closer to the front railings to turn around in so that customers can drive out forwards to join the main road.
