Nice place, the staff were great, easy stroll in to York itself, will stay again - Churchill would be happy that his name has not been taken in vain!

Excellent, very close to town, walking distance. Great rooms and service. Very friendly staff, good breakfast.

Great hotel! Clean, efficient with brilliant , helpful and knowledgeable employees. Complimentary bottled water in the rooms would have been a good touch, particularly as the weather was warm.

The location is what makes this trendy and well furnished place that little extra special. Smart and very well looked after

We had a most enjoyable stay at the hotel. It is in a nice quiet area of York that is very convenient for visiting the centre of York.
