Really unpleasant - I bought the luxury four poster after viewing on website only to stay in a room that was NOTHING like advertised. I would understand a slight variation to those pictured but would expect to be offered something similar. This room was nowhere near what I was sold and when I asked the staff member on reception she was very rude and arrogant and it spoiled the visit.

Reception staff were friendly and I have no complaints. Some noise at night from heating/air conditioning.

This was not our first stay at the Churchill and as on previous occasions everything was superb. Staff friendly and helpful.

It is a great hotel. However, as we was in the basement the noise from the staff (doors banging to the storage room and the door leading to the passage) annoyed us. Then on Monday morning at 8.00am the hoover was dragged out of the storage room and then hoovering started.

Spacious room, very comfortable, great nights sleep. Staff friendly and very attentive. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Very good as staff very friendly and food great, but did not like being on ground floor was next to hallway and restaurant we was woken 6.15am second morning by a radio or loudspeaker phone along the hallway outside room, also was woken by several youths 3am shouting for sometime along the road at side of our ground floor room we would loved to have been in a first floor room to experience exploring the beautiful staircase and landing pictures perhaps only for elite rooms which is a shame,

Very pleasant stay. Staff courteous and helpful. Beautiful building in good location. Only one minor issue, the mattress on the bed seemed to slope to one side, otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was exceptional.

Came with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday and had a lovely time. The room was lovely and clean and the staff could not have been nicer.
