Our bedroom was in the basement, with no lift, and narrow staircase, awkward for octogenarians. We found the pillows and bedding uncomfortable.
The parking was convenient, and the character of the building was attractive.
The staff were helpful, and the atmosphere was pleasant and friendly.

it was a lovely relaxing experience. We had just got married and stayed in the bridal suite. Everyone was friendly and nothing was too much trouble

Very Good good location. Easy access in and out of your. Liked the quirky Ness of the hotel. Excellent staff. Very helpful

for a Churchill fan excelent.
The Churchill theme is everywhere to see lovely.
Nice bathroom. And fine beds.
Impressive building.

It’s a very lovely place to stay and I would definitely go back . The location was perfect for getting in and out of town and the staff were all excellent. I would definitely recommend the Churchill for family and friends when visiting York.
