Brilliant stay,very welcoming and a great location.A very quiet hotel despite having windows open because it was hot.Family friendly and staff were very helpful and polite.

Fabulous hotel! Would recommend and will be back. Staff were very attentive and attended to all our needs. Waffles for breakfast were delicious.

Another lovely visit to york just shame about the sleep. Rooms well presented great location for a nice stroll into York centre.

It was a great place to stay and lovely to see York. The room was so small that was an initial disappointment on arrival. The receptionist was very nice and helpful on arrival giving us the map of york and telling us how to get into town via the gardens. He walked us to the room and offered help with bags - very good service! My partner and I just thought that the barmaid/waitress was not in the right job she had a very sour puss.

Very good however the walls seem to be very very thin as could hear quite clearly next door talking and snoring later during the night.

Lovely stay, pleasant staff, beautiful accommodation if a touch on the expensive side, great base for accessing the centre of York.

Really warm welcoming hotel, great staff. Great hotel and easy access to the centre. We will be back again definitely.

Really nice hotel, very clean and perfect location from York city centre. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We had a small double room but it was the perfect size for 2 of us. Would definitely stay again.

Very disappointed that the ‘small double’ was indeed very small, would have been interested in a bigger room but the offer to upgrade and pay the difference was never made.
