We loved York as a city, however we left tired from the problems with the room on the first evening.

It was a very nice hotel and considering it’s only a 3star I think it’s a little overpriced considering breakfast is quiet expensive and it doesn’t include your parking,the room was excellent in everyway thought apart from a minor detail what was when you came out to the bathroom you would always stub your toe on the corner of the tiles from the free standing bath or is that just us that it happened to.

DO NOT hesitate to book this place, perfect location, superb staff, great food, spotlessly clean. Book the Bunker Room, you will not be disappointed.

Had a very good time at this hotel staff were have helpfull, only 5 minute walk to York centre and great price from booking.com.

We had a superb stay. I cannot recommend The Churchill enough. From the comfy beds, to the friendly staff, the great location and the beautiful decor, the Churchill really did make our trip. Some personal recommendation of where to go and see in York, and holding our bags after check out added that something extra.
Due to our itinerary we didn't visit the bar or restaurant, but certainly will next time!.
