All top class, staff brilliant, service, helpfullness outstanding. Will def return. My only little niggle is that I am a little unsteady on my feet and I found the radiator very close to bed and stubbed my toe a few times, but im sure any normal person would have been OK. Room 135

Good stay for our short visit to York. Great family room that was clean and in a good location. We really enjoyed the dinner. We had there too in the beer garden.

We really enjoyed our stay the room was very comfortable The only poor thing was the cold burger in the bar as I have already described. Everything else was lovely.
I would like to mention Reece who served us on our second day and was exceptional in his friendly manner and great service. We look forward to coming back!

It was ok not great but okay and walking into a room with and finding someone lieing in the bed didn't start it off great

We loved our two night break in York. Reception staff so nice and helpful on arrival, giving pointers on where to go and what to see. Room and public areas were impressive, bedding and towels, bed all good quality. Breakfast amazing. To be able to park in hotel, walk into York and get a good nights sleep. Perfect. (2 minor points, Kitkat on coffee tray in rooms melts in the hot weather and feel Yorkshire cookies would be better, poached eggs at breakfast bit hard)

Enjoyed our stay. Room,location and breakfast were all great. Shame that the bar is quite dark with no window and close to the kitchen. You can move into the entrance hall and beer garden. These were fine and very comfortable.

Overall experiance was good however the size of the room and bathroom was too small.
