Very nice stay although just a few niggles about the car parking charge and the lumpy pillows but overall a very pleasant stay

Enjoyed our stay as York is beautiful and we stayed there as it was my 50th birthday
Hotel was full of character, just needed more choice in bar with ales and ciders

Perfect hotel for a short stay in York. Easy walk into the city and good value for money, with the added bonus of on site parking.

i think the room was overpriced premier inns are just as clean and comfotable,and are quieter and bigger. staff were realy good and more than helpfull,My room no .115 was very noisey all night because of central heating boiler sighting.

Room was fine but was in need of decorating. Radiator in bathroom never did work,despite several attempts by staff. Towels were meant to be white but weren't! Sheets also were past their best.
