Disappointed with the room - stayed at premier inns which had a better room at a fraction of the price. Surprised we had to pay for the car park too !!!

Lovely hotel. The location is perfect to explore York. Pleasant and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

Fantastic stay at the Churchill Hotel! Unique and quirky but top class service! Very welcoming from the second we got there and we will be back in the future.

Loved the location. Room nice and warm. Liked the parking on site but still flummoxed as to why we have to pay extra for parking in the hotel grounds when we’re staying there...? Never had to do that anywhere else in the country.

Over all it the hotel has great character but the room carpets and heating need replaced and the shower was a trickle.
