The Churchill Hotel

The overall experience was excellent could not fault anything. The staff where helpful and nothing to to much the hotel was amazing also the food was lovely

Excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely request the bunker room again and the only other thing that would help would be a nightlight in that room, that would be of great assistance for eg. getting up in the night as it is of course, pitch black!

I'm sad to say we were disappointed with our visit to your hotel this time. We where sorry we couldn't fit our car in the car park, we notice that there where a few of spaces but other people had double parked over two spaces, we also got charged for parking. In the morning we had to leave early to move our car which was parked on the road parallel to the hotel, If we’d been able to park in the car park we'd have booked breakfast. Our room was very small and stuffy, the window was nailed shut so we couldn't open it to let fresh air in. We’ve booked to stay again in December with some friends who are staying at the hotel for the first time under our recommendations. This was booked several months ago, we did consider cancelling the booking and stay elsewhere but feel we need to give the hotel a second chance. This will be our 7th visit to Churchills, in previous visits we’ve had a wonderful time, we do hope that we’ll not be disappointed next time.

Good, nice place to stay and reasonable price for York. Staff were friendly and efficient, room was ready on time and storing luggage was appreciated.

Lovely hotel, very clean and in a great location. Very quiet, great nights sleep and friendly staff.

Great location, room, staff, and food. Highly recommend staying at the Churchill Hotel when in York!

Fairly good although no carpet on foor so bed slid away from wall when sitting on it watching tv .Had to wedge bed with chair to prevent this.

This is a great hotel, that has been decorated with good quality furnishings, whilst retaining the original features. I will definitely come back

Excellent! Superb location, very friendly staff. Room was very clean and comfortable and the bar area was great!

Excellent. From booking onwards everything we experienced was well done and with very friendly, professional and helpful attention. We had a lovely weekend and it is so important to us - my family only meet once a year for a weekend and we have all traveled a long way and we are on a budget and the Churchill hotel and your excellent team made it all perfect for us. Thank you.
