Very nice bed and breakfast. It was very clean, staff were polite. Would definately recommend to friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay at the Churchill and although circumstances failed to allow us the opportunity to eat there it was all excellent and the staff in particular were probably the friendliest I have encountered in any UK hotel! We shall return. Very Highly recommended.

Loved the Churchill theme. Very clever. I thought that the lower rooms smelled a bit dank. otherwise pretty good.

Excellent. The restaurant is very good. The menu was wide and great value. Ian on reception was very welcoming.

Pleasant. Didn't spend much time in the hotel. Found mattress uncomfortable and could hear people next door but luckily they were not too noisy. Reception girl was lovely and helpful.

It was reasonable, but not enjoyable .
The Churchill theme is unsubtle and overdone.
Carpets in downstairs corridors are grimly dingy.

We have been before and find the staff and the hotel always up to and above expectations. Despite it's history The Churchill is a modern hotel inside, with a great range of rooms and prices. There is a lift to most rooms too.

Excellent service, friendly staff. Food was very good and breakfast was unbelievably good. Ceiling were bit too low in our room as in cellar. Only criticism for us, the corridor carpets are smelly and dirty and the decor makes the corridors and reception very dark, that said will definitely stay again.
