Recommend Hotel.staff very helpful friendly.
But would not recommend the room. Too close to reception very noisy at times people walking past as first room they pass.
Crates being pushed pass the room in the car park very early morning very noisy

One of the finest hotels we have stayed at . Ability to park safely and securely was also important. Staff were very helpful with our luggage and all the staff were ready and willing to help with any request.

10-10 for everything ,we will be back , this is the place to stay in York.you will not be disappointed for everything .

good, some strange noises coming from pipes above ? food was good service good would say a good visit overall

Excellent. We cannot comment on value/price as this was a gift. The only disappointment was the room which was very small and claustrophobic with no view and a tv you couldn’t see from the bed. We could not have spent more than one night in that room but the food and service were superb.

Excellent hotel for York visits. Ideal starting point for city walk. Great facilities and high level of service. Excellent food.

Overall it was good, location is great, car park could do with improving somehow and room fixtures need painting better, shower head was loose, electrical socket loose on bed head.

We were very pleased overall. The lighting in the bedroom was poor for doing ones makeup and the mirrors were inadequate for that purpose. A magnifying mirror in the bathroom would be great.
