Perfect, this is our third time here and would always return... from the moment we arrived - Ian and Rachel were really nice and friendly, a genuine warm welcome. A beautifully decorated, great sized room super-comfy bed, we couldn't fault it, can't wait to return 😀

Great, staff were amazing! Reception lady was so helpful and accommodating. Lovely pleasant manner which was appreciated.
Room was comfortable and well appointed.
Location was great for us, short walk into the centre. Parking is very useful but should be included without extra charges for staying guests.

The room was beautiful, the hotel is gorgeous. Staff are extremely polite, helpful, friendly and welcoming. The only thing I would say is, when you open the room door, you walk straight into another literal door. It is as a room separator I think but it makes it very tight getting in with even the smallest luggage. You have to squeeze around the door to get into the room because of the layout. I dont know what the solution is but please sort this. Also, the bathroom window doesnt open at all, not ideal even with the extractor fan that wasnt very effective. The room was filled with steam and took forever to disipate. Overall, my second visit and I love this hotel. 10/10 from myself and my partner even with the couple of minor points, would highly recommend.

We love the Churchill for the closeness to the city centre and the history.
Staff are amazing. They make the stay for all a lovely experience.
Let’s hope that the rest of the rooms get an upgrade.
And sort hearing out as we were not the only people to complain about heating.

Always love coming back to The Churchill; it feels like coming home! The staff are always very welcoming, and it's nice to be known by name. There are too many staff to thank individually but Rhys in the restaurant deserves particular praise, as do the reception staff.

Overall I’d say there were some great parts, but equally there were just as many bad parts. So I’d give your hotel 3/5

We are sorry, however, that the follow-up service didn’t meet your expectations. It’s disappointing to learn there was confusion about housekeeping and towels, and that you needed to speak with reception to get this sorted.
