Second time we have stayed at the Churchill hotel and my wife and I cannot fault it . The room was great and spotlessly clean . The only down side is the extra £18 per day charge ,for parking .

Very nice hotel. We will stay again but book direct and ask for a larger room. Breakfast was good and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very good. The staff were great and made you feel welcome. Doing little things like offering a blanket to my father in his wheelchair to take on a walk in to York.

We definitely will return.

Excellent staff both in the hotel and restaurant. Super breakfasts with a great choice although a bit pricey if you just want a continental one.

Overall we were impressed with the hotel but unsure about a return visit as felt not great value for money.

Perfect location for a friends getaway before Christmas. Location was perfect and the room was very comfortable.
Ambience in the restaurant for breakfast was intimate and cosy on dark winter morning.
Staff were so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Overall very good, would stay again. Breakfast a bit expensive. But a beautiful building and hotel..

We enjoyed our stay very much.
The room was small but nice.
The bathroom was cute but very small.
Fortunately my husband is not too tall and fat, otherwise he would not have been able to take a shower.
