Wonderful, room was large and comfy and dark at night which was definetley a bonus, toiletries were nice too, KitKats were just what we needed after travelling over 2 hours.

Elegant, friendly place that felt a little bit special. We came in late after dropping our first son at university and the bar staff served us - delicious home-made sandwiches and beer; felt very welcomed and nourished! A stylish hotel that seems to be willing to put in a bit extra - and I loved the bathtub in the bedroom!

Disappointing. Much better on last visit. I did not have breakfast as I was told I would have to pay full breakfast price even for 1 egg!

Very enjoyable stay staff ultra friendly and helpful location perfect and York had plenty places to visit and places to eat and drink

Overall the food at Churchill’s ensured a great stay if we didn’t eat and was only judging the room, due to the terrible mattress and pillows it would have been a very different stay and score

Wonderful, wacky and welcoming! Very kind and helpful staff, good restaurant, perfect location in York, quiet even though 5 mins from town centre.
