Very impressed as we have said plates are cold at both Breakfast and Dinner although food was hot and excellent, a towel rail in our bathroom would also be an improvement

Overall very happy - I would definitely return to this very well run (generally) and pleasant hotel which has a very good ambiance.

Impeccable hotel great location stayed here numerous times don’t like telling people about this as it will become too popular and we will never get booked!!

Very good break, will come back again. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, although the mattress was a bit past its best.

We only stayed one night
Room was really quiet which I requested but we had single beds which we hadn’t requested

Great hotel, superb location and very friendly staff. Breakfast was first class. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have visited the Churchill Hotel on numerous occasions over the past 5 Years. My visits were initially business trips, however, I have also visited with my wife & family for leisure breaks on several occasions. The Hotel is superbly placed to enjoy all that is best about the Magnificent City of York. The Churchill maintains the high standards that you would expect from a Boutique 4* Hotel. The Churchillian theme adds an element of historic interest and a real fun feel to the place. The Hotel's greatest asset is undoubtedly the Management Team and Staff, a substantial number of whom have been at the Churchill for well over a decade, giving it the feel and ambience of a family run establishment that really cares for its clients.

This is the second time we have stayed with you. Really comfortable and welcoming hotel and nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
