Very disappointed that the ‘small double’ was indeed very small, would have been interested in a bigger room but the offer to upgrade and pay the difference was never made.

Lovely hotel, the shower was a bit of a pain. The staff are really friendly and professional. Breakfast was nice but not amazing.

Friendly staff that were helpful about what to see in York.
Convenient car parking with great access to the city centre - within walking distance of all attractions.
Great characterful building, although it was only thought that Churchill ‘might’ have stayed at the property.
Decor was a bit dark!

The best part of the hotel was definitely dealing with Ian. The bar was nice an cosy and a good selection of drinks available

A fantastic long weekend in York at The Churchill ! Excellent 5 star quality accommodation. Breakfast was superb.

We had a fantastic time and all left feeling relaxed. Such a wonderful stay and a lovely little get away. We will definitely be back.
