Couldn’t complain about anything enjoyed our whole stay. On arrival reception told us history of hotel, checked room was ready gave info on the area and a map, gave details of breakfast. Car park a bonus.

Lovely hotel and well themed, felt thoroughly welcome from the minute we walked in the door and nothing was to much bother to the hotel staff.

We went the just for one day as road trip stop. And we felt so comfortable and relaxed. The staff were very helpful and supplied everything we needed to make our stay as peaceful as possible.

Really disappointing stay. Nicely decorated but noisy and hot room. Extra charges for basics. Not what I expected after we had paid upgrade on top of vouchers that most likely made our one night stay £250+ Wouldn't recommend at all.

We really enjoyed our stay in York. The hotel is lovely and in a great location.
Highly recommend the Churchill hotel and York. Beautiful city with so much history.

Very enjoyable-friendly staff-wonderful pots of tea. Lovely local lady at breakfast who suggested the sights to visit and even got bus timetables and fare.
