Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very nice and quiet too.
I found it tricky to find the entrance as hotel signs are not prominent and I was driving alone so it wasn't easy to look around - I had only put the street name in my sat nav.
I was disappointed that I had to pay for parking.

Would definitely book the Churchill Hotel again, lovely stay, and all the staff made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent and the hotel is conveniently located, just a 2 min walk into the city center. They even upgraded us to a superior room as there was one available upon check in! Overall a great hotel.

Overall - ok . You win out on location for sure. Car park very tight - book through trip advisor and your parking is free otherwise $10 which I though was cheeky. Not much of a sense of generosity eg. Cereal $6 extra but overall a pleasant break.

Superb location and convenient parking.
Room a little claustrophobic and bathroom marginal.
Everything was OK but a touch expensive.

Just about excellent except for the useless barman. I booked online but had forgotten to apply the promo code for the free parking. On checking out the staff queried this and applied the free parking to my booking. Thank you!

Fantastic place to stay within walking distance to the city walls. Staff are lovely and the room was great, love the splash back in the the shower!

Great night porter very welcoming and looked after us fantastic after one of the worst days of my life he helped put a smile on our face shame I didn’t get his name hope he get to see this or u pass it on to him

Under expectation. I am sure that this review would have been different in an alternative room. I could not recommend this particular room to anyone, especially in Summer.

Lovely hotel serving great food. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Great location for visiting York and all it has to offer.
