our stay was comfortable and the location is good. Staff were friendly. Need more lighting in corridors and take out the carpets and put in wood or fake wood or slate floors. easy to clean and fresher.

Arriving at the hotel you really get the wow factor, it’s in a fantastic location and has everything you need. The staff were amazing in every way. The dinner was a bit hit and miss with each course but breakfast was lovely. Can not fault the location at all if you want to wonder into York centre.

We only went for an over night stay I wish we could have stayed longer . I will be definitely be going back in the future

Fantastic as always.... we stayed in the Marlborough suit loved the roll top bath and the bed was so comfy we struggled to get up in the morning.....staff were friendly and helpful.... service in the restraunt was great.... and young Harry was a pleasure to talk to...good luck with your studies young man......
See you all again soon.

It's amazing just need of a bit of renovation esp. The Prince of wales suite.
The location is really good near in town and easy to find.

A lovely hotel with character and very friendly staff. Good location to York centre. Breakfast is overpriced. Extremely tight car park with small opening off main road, but that is because the entrance and railings are listed so can’t be touched
