We’ve stayed at the hotel a few times and choose it because it offers family rooms at reasonable prices and is located close to the town/attractions. Staff are always really helpful and friendly.

Some areas could do with a refresh eg the main staircase carpet could do with a professional clean or replacing.

Its a Lovely hotel and facility with great staff which could have been 5* if the small double rooms were improved.

The hotel is very pleasant however it is thestaff who really make it.The barstaff were very friendly (genuinely)The reception staff were excellent professional helpful and really made us feel welcome.Having stayed in York in chain hotels the difference is marked.Well done fir keeping hold of good staff.
