Very pleasant. Good location and nicely done out. Would stay again but wouldn't use the restaurant or pay for breakfast

Overall I would say that we had a pleasant experience at the Churchill and I would certainly recommend it.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and won’t hesitate going back. Very helpful staff. Couldn’t fault our room.

Friendly and informative reception staff. Hotel about 5 min walk from the centre of the action. Room 106 clean and spacious, bed comfy. Don't usually sleep well in hotels but slept extremely well both nights we stayed. Restaurant staff very professional, food delicious and high quality ingredients. Have recommended to friends and family.

Enjoyed our stay , the room was very comfortable, and the staff could not have been more helpful.. And thank you to Ian, who sorted out the booking, as it was a gift voucher, it was made so easy to book.

Terrible nights sleep due to humming of what sounded like the boiler in room 109 .also door in hallway was banging on the first morning as people were walking through it . Would stay again but not on the bottom floor ..

We found out on arrival the toilet wasn’t flushing in our room. It was a bit unpleasant to go back to the room a few hours later and find the toilet floor dirty and one of the towels looking dirty and wet on the floor. Phoned reception to then find out we shouldn’t have been in that room in first place,and got moved to a different one, very kindly a bigger room at no extra cost.

Very well situates in the city (close to the Minster and the City Walls, particularly. Thank you to the desk attendant who gave us precious indications for the visits. One night was too short an stay ! We'll definitely have to come back again...
