A lovely hotel with character and very friendly staff. Good location to York centre. Breakfast is overpriced. Extremely tight car park with small opening off main road, but that is because the entrance and railings are listed so can’t be touched

Pretty good thank you. A lovely hotel in great location with friendly staff.
Perhaps the parking could be a little cheaper though? Just a thought.

Great base for a mini break in York. Hotel was only a short walk from the city and being able to park the car was a big plus. Lovely room. Will stay there again.

A nice clean place to stay and the staff were friendly, the room was for 4 people but with just 3 of us it was cramped, not much space either side of the double bed to actually get in.

Didn't bother with the breakfast as it was overpriced in my opinion (over£13).

There was a wedding on at the time and the bar was packed so didn't bother having a drink.
Overall it was OK but probably won't go back anytime soon.

Didn’t agree with having to pay for porridge extra before main course never heard of it before especially after paying £380 for 2 nights

Really enjoyable stay and would definitely use The Churchill again next time! So close to the city walls and Minster, fantastic !

Very relaxing and a good place to spend our first wedding anniversary. The convenient location is an added bonus.

Very good. Helpful staff and hotel well fitted out. Would definatly use again if in York. Superb wedding venue
