The hotel is a beautiful building and has lots of character and is in a good location for the short walk into York city centre. The breakfasts and evening meal were very good with plenty to eat. Rooms were a reasonable size for the age of the building as we were in the original house and not the extension. Only down size was the weak flow of water to the shower.

Very peaceful and great location. Staff were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful.
£10 per night parking fee for residents a bit steep.

A hotel with character, which we like. We’ve been before, and will probably return one day. One thing we didn’t like was having to pay £10 per night for parking.

Staying at the Churchill is an exceptional experience from beginning to end. Staff are happy and welcoming, service is consistently brilliant.
It is one of the best hotels I stay in, I always arrive and leave with joy in my heart.

Nice hotel - situated a short walk from the city centre . It was Very hot weather the weekend we were there and there was no air conditioning in the room - so room was very warm but we were given a fan which helped . Breakfast was quoted at £14.95
- which we thought was way too expensive so we went to s local cafe to eat

lovely stay at the hotel nothing seemed to much trouble, room was very clean and spacious. would deffinatley stay again.
