The hotel is beautiful and would stay again but for one thing. Other hotels where parking is charged per 24 hour period, this one charges an extra £10 on top of the normal charge because we arrived before the check in time. This is not acceptable I'm my view and not something I have ever experienced before.

Very pleasant stay, unfortunately for only one night. Would like to stay longer next time and eat in the restaurant which looked very appealing as did the garden.

It was exactly as the information we had on the hotel prior to arrival. The only issue we had was the price for parking at £18 which I find overly expensive.

Excellent stay at a very conveniently located hotel. A couple of minor issues with the room were quickly resolved. Very friendly and helpful reception.

Excellent stay very good walking distance for the town and all the sights. So much to see in York without doubt will come back.

Very enjoyable stay and thanks to the staff no drama with the room change. Very helpful and polite. I would recommend to friends.

Herendous would never book with this hotel again, partner needed hospital treatment and the owner wouldnt help at all, please try other places this one is ridiculous for the price

Great Hotel, Great Staff, would book again in a heartbeat , nowhere better in York to stay, will be back soon .

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, comfortable room. Good location to visit York on foot or by train. Excellent food and service
