Saw it on-line, like the concept and thought i would give it a go.. Overall the accommodation was excellent as was the service and food with the location being very handy. Would I stay again? yes I would.

We were very happy. The location was superb and the staff very helpful. We will use this hotel whenever we come to York.

Creepy ambience around the place very dark not particularly welcoming. Staff attentive and helpful. Great location.

Very helpful, and lovely atmosphere in the hotel, we just think there could be a few tiny improvements to make the experience a lot better! We would return to the hotel.

We changed room as downstairs was a bit cramped and dark upstairs much better and light! TV good and bed comfy!

A splendid clean 1st rate Hotel with very helpfull and friendly staff.
The car parking is brilliant, with the rooms not available before 2.00pm, when we arrived at 11.00am we where allowed to park the car in the car park, whilst we had a walk in to York, which talkes approximatly 7 minutes from the hotel to York Minster, so handy.

My husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Churchill. We travelled by train and had an easy flat 10 minute walk to the Hotel. Our room was very clean and warm and the staff were friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was delicious. We would definitely recommend this Hotel.

Great! We managed to check in early, and take advantage of the car parking (this is at a cost of £10 per night, but this is very reasonable for York).

After check in we went to the room, and found it a little on the small side, but great full size shower and decent bathroom. Well worth the money we paid to stay!

I would definitely stay here again.
