Fun, quirky decor, up market, looks fully re-decorated recently. Looking forward to staying here again when next in York.

We have been coming to the Churchill for about 30years, and it is always nice. We tend to come on special occasions, and in the past.John as always tried to give us a better grade room ( if available). It would have been nice if this had happened this tim e , as it was Julie’s birthday.

Excellent very clean frendly staff excellent location for York would definitely go again would recommend it.

Welcoming reception staff. Well decorated and comfortable rooms. All within a 10 min walk to city centre. Brilliant!

I can only use superlatives; neither of us could have faulted this experience at all. It was the relaxing and thoroughly indulgent break that we both needed. As owners of a small Country Bed & Breakfast in Weardale we know about good service, good food and looking after guests and it was SO lovely to be on the receiving end fora change; we will most certainly come again. Thank you Churchill - don't change anything, you have everything 100% right!

I stayed here when I visited my daughter who is at york university, I thought the hotel was lovely,the staff very friendly and the location excellent. I would defiantly stay here again.
