Very good friendly &helpful staff Comfortable room excellent food & very well looked after great atmosphere

Customer service from Ian at the reception when we arrived and when we left was the best I've had. He was clearly passionate about York and loved people! He was so good with our kids too. My kids even made him drawings of the Cat Hunt to give before we left. Thank you Ian!

Great friendly customer service, specially from Racheal at Front of house, she was very helpful and couldn’t have done more for you. Would definitely be staying again as we loved it.

We booked through booking.com for a long weekend in celebration of my husbands birthday. Upon arrival we discovered our room was not what we were expecting, this was down to us not understanding the room description correctly during the booking process. The staff on duty at the time we booked in and the following morning ( I think they were Dan, Rachael, Kelsey & Molly ) were all extremely helpful and understanding of the reasons we were unable to use the room, they all went above and beyond expectations to arrange alternative accommodation for our stay. All the staff throughout our stay were always polite, helpful, knowledgeable about the hotel as well as York itself and were always friendly. We will definitely be back.

Been to the Churchill quite a few times recently. Great location and staff great. Always have a good chat with ian on reception very friendly

We shared a family room (2 adults and two teenage kids) which was not huge but very comfortable (proper beds for all) and had everything we needed.

Very good the only thing I would say is the tightness of the parking bays/ entrance I also think the parking fee is excessive

We had a pleasant stay in your fabulous hotel. The only downside was that the council's bottle rubbish collection was carried out outside our Room at 6.28 am.

Excellent service in a very charming city. We left behind our 3 year-old’s sleeping stuffy and staff made sure we got it back before flying out of the country.
