Wonderful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are beautiful and the location is ideal, just far enough away from the city centre to not be disturbed but close enough that it's not a discouraging walk! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in York.

Nice , but stayed here a few times , now time to move on . It looks like there now watching to save money and I like this reflects on the overall stay shame really

A very last minute stay resulted in us finding an absolute gem! The hotel was wonderfully quirky and in a great location but was truly made by the welcoming staff.

A lovely getaway with my husband we loved everything about the hotel from the room. A to the staff very welcoming and had a touch of elegance

Luvly hotel we will be back loved York great pubs and restaurants we couldn’t go on the wall closed because of ice but saved it for next time.

Impeccable service. Room very clean and a good size. Beautiful building both inside and outside. We stayed in room 139.

Excellent Very nice hotel great staff room was very nice clean warm comfortable bed .
