not good the 115 was too small for the price the bathroom was a joke the bed twin lights over the bed socket was behind the pillows and the the light on one of the bed was too low and you could hit your head on it the room was far too small only about 6 ins down the side to get in bed staff were very nice just a same about the room

Staff polite, warm and welcoming. Hotel clean and well kept. Location not a far walk from city. Perfect for a night away.

Beautiful hotel, very professional and friendly. Location is excellent for a gentle walk in to the centre of york.

Lovely hotel. However our room was dated, extremely small and right next to the bins outside were there was a lot of noise from staff. Had to keep curtain closed as felt they could see inside.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was very compact and would have been too small if staying any longer. Good location.

It was a very pleasant experience. Check in was friendly and welcoming; we were shown to the room and helped with our luggage (copious due to the number of stuffed toys we had in tow). It’s an easy walk into town, the bar was lovely when we got back. The staff were very helpful, and very good with our daughter who likes to be one of the “growed ups”. We would would definitely stay at the Churchill again.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Service a little slow in the bar, but it didn’t bother us too much. Overall, a great stay and would definitely stay again when visiting York.

Great stay at a lovely hotel in a great location, friendly staff, great food and impressive building. Close to all the tourist hot spots we could walk to them all. Would definitely recommend.
