Staff at the hotel were super friendly and approachable nothing was too much trouble

Great hotel and would love to return but wouldn’t unless air in put in rooms, it must be unbearable in summer

We stayed for one night in The Admiralty room with a four poster bed and roll top bath. What a great room with everything we required. The location of the hotel is perfect for a short stroll to to city centre. The bar was cosy, the food was very nice and all the staff friendly. Ian on reception very helpful and the guy working both the bar and restaurant was chatty and pleasant. It was my partners birthday and she received a kind gesture of a lovely plate of chocolates which was a nice surprise. Our evening meal was very nice as was the breakfast. This was pleasant hotel and one we will definitely visit again. Well done team Churchill.

We had the loveliest experience, all the staff were so friendly.
Iain and the other girl with ginger hair on reception were the loveliest people, being so helpful with bags and giving recommendations of where to explore in the city.
We would definitely stay again

Overall a great experience. Welcomed from the minute we walked in to the minute we left. Nothing was any trouble. Catered for a special diet without any fuss. Made the stay even more relaxing.

Decent. I was woken up earlier than I would have liked each day. But not the end of the world because at least I got up and out to see more of the city. The staff were gems upon checking in and out, and when I had to request help for a broken TV. They offered to check out the TV the next day for a fix also, but this wasn't necessary for my stay at all.

A good experience once the mattress had been changed. It was completely gone! Springs had gone entirely. Was changed but no offer of any kind to compensate for lack of sleep!

We did ask to have dinner in a pod but was told they were not open during the week which was fine. However, we did then see people using them in the evening?

We’re sorry for any confusion regarding the availability of our dining pods. We do restrict pod bookings on certain days to ensure a smooth service and sometimes reserve them for special occasions or private groups, which may be why you saw guests using them later in the evening. We understand how this could be disappointing and thank you for bringing it to our attention.
