A lovely place in an ideal location (apart from the occasional train). The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable

Wonderful
Just husband broke his little for on tile step round bath, so spoilt our weekend as was in pain and our 25th anniversary

Bar prices for both food and drink were a little expensive and there was not much choice. Also decor was a bit dark

We visited as York is very special to us and it was our wedding anniversary. It was the first stay at the Churchill and it made our visit ever so more special. The hotel was in an ideal location, looked beautiful and wonderfully furnished. Next year I hope to try the restaurant/bar and spend a little more time with you.

Extremely enjoyable, a very walkable distance from everything York had to offer and room was spotless and spacious

We have been to the Churchill numerous times in the last 13years and we are now well known, well received and well looked after.We would not consider staying anywhere else in York.

Lovely stay, room comfortable apart from light above bed. Good bathroom and staff very friendly and professional. Only disappointment was
poor/limited menu choice. We would stay again but eat and drink out.

OK, although breakfast and the service let it down significantly. I was part of a wedding party staying with you - my sister and her new husband were married on Friday and chose the Churchill specifically due to it's location and ratings. I felt that for the money I paid to stay with you, I didn't receive the experience I expected. I stayed in room 119.
