Very Good, would return. Staff on arrival excellent. Different reception staff the next day were very helpful. Evening meal excellent food drink and service . Breakfast didn't match the quality of the hotel or restaurant.

I was great couple of days and would stay here again, highly recommend it, location superb, hotel is unique and very nice stay all in all

We had a lovely short break, exploring York.
The Churchill was well placed within easy walking distance of the centre.

Staff very good. Room very clean apart from the toilet on arrival. Everything for breakfast was to order, whereas we prefer to help ourselves to smaller items like tea, coffee, cereal and toast. Excellent location.

We felt welcome and well looked after. We will make sure to return.
Very nice Bar and Library to relax over beer, wine and a lovely collection of gins.

Very good experience. I wanted an independent hotel for our visit to York as it was my birthday and I was not disappointed. Churchill had lots of little extras that others do not have.

Good! We had a lovely night although I found the bad and pillows very hard! The staff were lovely ..
