Very enjoyable, great hotel and great location to walk into York Centre to enjoy the local sites etc

I stayed in the Churchill with my 21 year old daughter. This is a lovely hotel and we were made very welcome.

Very good, our special requests were listened t and provided, checking in was a touch slow and the reception always seemed to be in chaos every time we visited, however the staff were welcoming and we felt valued as customers. The facilities were very good, and we enjoyed our visit immensely!! Unfortunately one staff member let down our experience, as we were leaving for the evening I turned around to look at the hotel and a staff member was smoking under the porch outside your main front door... i feel this is very unprofessional and is a massive et peeve of us both, the same member also then forgot t deliver tea bags to the room, which i then had t chase up myself... however all other staff members were perfectly pleasant. Would return at booking.com prices!! Thank you :)

We visited again for New Year, we had a great time. The hotel is in an ideal location, parked our car on day of arrival and didn't use it again till we left for home. We celebrated new years eve again at the hotel, again the food was excellent, its great just to be able to walk out of your room and your at an event. Although I must say we were a little disappointed with the DJ this year, he didn't seem to fill the dance floor with his choices. We can not fault the waiting staff and reception everyones very friendly and always willing to help. Well done all at Churchill a great experience again.

Lovely hotel breakfast should be included in the price, great location,lovely staff. What helped us was Reg his knowledge of the hotel and area was very good ,we would love to come back again please include breakfast in the price.

My stay was lovely the location was just perfect.Our room was lovely but your food is average and not good portions your choice of background music was not in keeping with the era and so philatelic decor but your staff on reception and servers are excellent I would come again but maybe not have my evening meal there

Had a great experience and would definitely stay there again. Receptionist was really helpful with tips on where to go and the short cut to the station.
