It was okay, expensive for the class of accommodation .Decore dated now, it may have a link to Churchill but, bring things up to date. Seems an easy way to avoud refurbishment. Would I return, I doubt it.

Great location, only a few minutes walk from the minster, shambles, shops, bars and restaurants. All hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Excellent location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. Room very clean, excellent breakfast.

Had a great stay, breakfast manager was outstanding.

Need to sort breakfast cost/£10 per room voucher, even confusing for your staff!

Fabulous hotel gorgeous decor in this Georgian house - location is excellent for central York & railway museum. Room was very clean & a good size though I did struggle to get a good light for make up/hair & the bathroom was quite cold but this did not spoil our stay overall a really good hotel with great surroundings & delicious breakfast

Room a little small but expected this as a last minute twin booking. Staff and service excellent nothing too much trouble. Definitely be back again.

Pleasant, warm, friendly, creative displays and a high level of Interest.
A bit dark on the nice room of winston, hat lights etc. More display illumination would help a bit.
