The staff and the hotel was really great. The only gripe I have is when booking the picture of the room wasn't the room we had and looked a bit more business like. However it is a great hotel and very authentic and modern with a splash of Churchill. We ate out and the location of the hotel was great

Fabulous - will definitely return - reception staff very helpful.
Superior room & bathroom not large by any standards but adequate and very comfortable.

Ok ambience not great. Needs a bin outside. Staff smoking directly outside main door is off putting given there's a smoke shelter too. Car park arrangements not organised delayed on arrival and departure even though I paid for additional parking

The hotel is situated only 2 mins walk from York Minster and the centre of York. The staff could not have been more helpful it is obvious as soon as you walk through the front door they genuinely want to make sure you receive the best possible service which we did. The rooms were spotless the power shower was unbelievable and the bed was extremely comfy. We stayed here as a result of a present from our daughter but we would definitely return and would absolutely recommend this fantastic hotel.

Very friendly staff willing to help. Very clean hotel. My bed was not very comfy, but everyone likes a different sort of mattress. Would defiantly recommend and i would come back again.

Great. Would recommend and return without a second thought. Staff very polite and helpful. The room was spotlessly cleaning. Very modern and the bed was very comfortable.

Massively dissatisfied and disappointed as this was a birthday treat for my wife and the room just totally let it down. Ending with a pice of time in her foot when we were meant to go out walking that afternoon. Absolutely gutted!!
