Main advantage of this hotel is its proximity to York city walls and the private car park. Although for the prices charged by the hotel I don’t think an additional parking charge is justified. We had a lovely stay in York in spite of the service issues at the hotel. 3 star service at 4/5 star prices.

It was the highlight of our visit to York! Nice staff, great food, good location, well-decorated and spacious room. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Lovely hotel situated just minutes alway from the city centre. Room nicely decorated and very clean. Great to have parking on site as well!

Had a fantastic time ,New years eve event was fabulous,food excellent,staff worked so hard and could not fault the service.wasn't too impressed with superior room needs redecorating in some parts of hotel.overall experience was good .

Very nice one night stay for my husband's birthday. Clean spacious double room that was very convenient for the bar. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Short walk into town

Great and let down by no customer service at check out when we explain our issue with breakfast; to drive home for 2-hours with no food (that we had paid for) was unacceptable.

Hotel very clean and comfortable, receptionists very helpful and professional. the breakfast was very good with a varied selection to choose from. Car parking a bonus.

A lovely hotel, quirky and full of character - absolute value for money too and in a great location for those wanting to wander the city. The food was excellent - I will certainly stay at the Chruchill for my next visit!!
