Pleasant, warm, friendly, creative displays and a high level of Interest.
A bit dark on the nice room of winston, hat lights etc. More display illumination would help a bit.

if you come back to York we will stay to The Churchill Hotel again. Restaurant offer could be enlarged.

Overall the hotel provided us with a great experience. All staff were welcoming from start to finish and were always happy to help in any way they could. Absolutely beautiful hotel with bundles of character.

Would have been nice to have use of a travel cot free of charge though if family room.

the room was very dark in fact I found the whole hotel too dark

Good up until the point of leaving!
When returning the room pass at reception on my departure, I was informed that I owed £20 in parking fees, this was not brought to my attention on arrival or at any other time during my stay.
Spoilt what was an otherwise pleasant experience!

Good room was a bit tired decor wise but a comfortable bed nice big bathroom
There was a noticeable noise from the heating which did disturb during the night we stayed in room 109
When we booked through booking.com the online information did not make clear that breakfast was not included I would definitely stay here again but would book direct with hotel
